How To Make The Ultimate Chocolate Cookies
These cookies are incredibly simple to make – just mix, roll into small balls, press down each with a fork and cook until done!!
What’s the Purpose of the Custard Powder?
Custard powder comes pre-flavored with vanilla, which gives it a nice taste. It’s sugar-free meaning you can control the sweetness. It balances out the chocolately sweetness of the cocoa powder and gives the cookies an awesome taste. It also has a creamy and thick texture when used so which adds a really nice texture to the cookies.
You can substitute cornstarch for the custard powder, as the primary ingredient in custard powder is cornstarch, but the cookies would definitely lack the flavour that the custard powder gives them.
How Long Will These Cookies Last?
These cookies will last for around a week or two if stored in an airtight container
